I. In Christ God Is With Us In Our Lives

A. Your Life has a Captain in Jesus-God with us.
Hebrews 2:10 (NKJV) For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
B. In Jesus God with Us Your life has a purpose and a destination.
Jesus will bring you to your ultimate destination.

II. THE STRUGGLE IN THE STORM
37 A great windstorm arose, and the waves were breaking over the boat, so that the boat was already being swamped.
Life storms are sudden and unexpected.
Proverbs 27:1 (ESV) Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.

Sometimes God is behind the storm – using it to drive us to Him for refuge.
The Enemy:
The word “rebuked” is the same word used when Jesus rebuked demons.
Devastatingly and Strongly
III. In Jesus God with Us we have One Greater than the Storms.
Psalm 89:9 (CSB) You rule the raging sea; when its waves surge, you still them.
Psalm 107:28–29 (CSB) Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress. 29 He stilled the storm to a whisper, and the waves of the sea were hushed.
